Graphic Designer

Full-time, exempt

Hours:
Monday through Thursday 8 am – 6 pm with some flexibility in schedule; additional hours as needed for special events and projects.

Objective:
Develop concepts, produce print & digital graphics, and provide typesetting and layouts for brochures, flyers, websites and other promotional materials based on project scope.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field of study or at least 2 years multimedia and graphic design experience
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required
  • Compelling aesthetic sensibilities and general understanding of layout, typography, color theory and design principles
  • Knowledge of print production process a plus

Broadcast Tech

Part-Time; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Approximately 20 hours per week.  (schedule TBD)

Objective:
Assist the engineer in installation, operation, and upkeep of various video and technology systems. These systems include broadcast TV cameras and switching, remote video venues, in-house IMAG and displays, and broadcast studio operation.

Children's Ministries Director - Raleigh Campus

Full-time, salaried, exempt status, includes weekends and some nights

Hours:
Mon. – Thurs. 9:00 – 5:00, office hours flexible with ministry needs and Sunday.

Objective:
Provide oversight to all ministries, classes, and leadership under the Redemption Children’s Ministry at Raleigh Campus.

Requirements:

  • Degree in teaching or related field is required (extensive ministry experience, in some cases, can be substituted.)
  • 2 years of experience as a school teacher and/or church staff leader in children’s ministry (other relevant experience may be considered).
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential matters and materials with Excellence.
  • A strong leader with a solid work ethic, a call to vocational ministry, as well as a passion for teaching children about God and developing them spiritually.

Campus Production Technical Coordinator

Part-Time; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Approximately 20 hours per week.  Hours include time supporting Redemption campuses and office hours working with the ministry leads.  Additional hours may be needed for special events/projects

Objective:
To be the primary stewart supporting Redemption’s campus technology by working with ministry leads to standardize Production equipment, develop and implement a formal volunteer technical training program and visit campuses on a rotating bases to perform training and accessing the technology needs.

Requirements:

  • Technical experience in Sound, Lighting, Media equipment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Two years experience in church production or related technology
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage and lead effective volunteer project teams
  • Demonstrated acumen toward technology and problem solving and knowledge of a live production environment
  • Proven competency in church or related ministry leadership balancing production and 
creativity with church culture and context
  • Ability to articulate a vision and a biblical philosophy of  church production

  • Provide support for on-the-spot diagnostic evaluations, implementation of corrections, and training campus staff and volunteer in proper operation of production tech equipment.

Campus Safety & Security Officer

Full-time;hourly; non-exempt

Hours:
Approximately 40 hours per week plus additional hours as needed.

Objective:
Develop concepts, produce print & digital graphics, and provide typesetting and layouts for brochures, flyers, websites and other promotional materials based on project scope.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide all aspects of security to all physical areas of the REDEMPTION campus, including The Imagine Center facility, in accordance with local, state and federal codes and good practices to ensure long-life, safety, and operability of REDEMPTION’s campus
  • Take shared responsibility for accomplishing the vision of REDEMPTION and strive to display professionalism and moral conduct becoming of a church environment
  • Assist the Campus Safety & Security Manager with various law enforcement and security functions and protect life and property of individuals and the church
  • Maintain the safety and security of the campus, foster a church environment and act as a deterrent to unsafe or poor behavior by providing high visibility throughout the church; walking and surveying offices, common areas, grounds and parking lots
  • Intervene in verbal and physical encounters among the staff and church members; diffuse hostile situations and enforce safety policies regarding weapons, tobacco, illegal substances, traffic rules, etc.
  • Complete preliminary reports of incidents; advise Manager of significant incidents at assigned locations and direct security personnel and equipment in the absence of the Manager
  • Assist staff and church members during crisis situations including fire drills, tornado drills, weapons control, bomb threats and lockdowns
  • Participate in S.L.E.D. training activities and required meetings
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in a Safety and Security position
  • L.E.D certified or eligible for certification
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security and law enforcement procedures and ability to work under adverse conditions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communications, specifically with customer relations and incident reports
  • Demonstrated ability to perform with little supervision and to remain calm and make rational decisions in crisis situations
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, nights and weekends

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds on an as needed basis
  • Possess 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, in order to be alert to potential insecure/unsafe situations.
  • Hearing ability to detect minor sounds/disturbances, as well as hear over a telephone or hand held radio.
  • Must be able to drive a vehicle (thus meeting drivers licensing physical requirements)
  • Occasionally required to bend, jump, twist at the waist, reach over the head with both arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and to navigate uneven terrain for the purpose of investigating ill-defined and unexpected situations (for example, climbing a fence or crawling through a window).
  • Frequently required to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time (greater than an hour per task), in order to patrol property, maintain security post and/or sit at a desk to type reports.
  • Engage in occasional, sudden exertion, such as running or restraining persons. Use physical agility and strength to defend self and detain persons using force, if necessary.
  • Use of hands and fingers and sufficient manual dexterity to operate communication equipment, such as, but not limited to, computer keyboard and door locks.
  • Requirement to speak clearly and yell forcefully, for example being able to communicate over noisy environments.

Sound Technician - Asheville Campus

Part-time working less than 20 hours per week; hourly, non-exempt status

Hours:
Sunday 8:00am-2:00pm plus additional hours as needed for special services or events; approximately 6 hours per week

Objective:
Responsible for controlling the quality of sound as well as the sound levels during all services, rehearsals and events. Also responsible for proper set-up and take-down of audio system.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of mixing experience on audio consoles (32 channels or more) and sound systems
  • Working knowledge and experience of digital mixing consoles and other digital audio equipment.
  • Manual dexterity and an aptitude for working with electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems and equipment
  • Acute and balanced hearing
  • Awareness of range and limits of sound equipment with a general understanding of health and safety issues concerning safe sound limits and amplifications

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing a good sound mix through the house PA system;
  • Attentive to the needs of the Campus Pastor, Worship Leader or other guest speakers by following the direction on the platform. It is vital to be sensitive to the flow and feel of the service, adjusting the volume levels as needed or when directed to do so.     
  • Protect the interests of the campus by preventing abuse or misuse of any campus equipment and ensuring efficient use of labor;
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all performance and support areas, following standard building, electrical and fire codes;
  • Enforce and establish safety procedures as directed;
  • Enforce REDEMPTION Sound Level policy; including taking decibel readings and recording the levels;
  • Monitor access and use of sound systems. Allow only qualified technicians/volunteers to work on or with REDEMPTION sound/video systems;
  • Responsible for operations and maintenance of sound equipment;
  • Track and maintain the sound equipment inventory including but not limited to microphones, speakers, cables, etc.;
  • Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the sound work areas, control booth and sound storage areas;
  • Report inventory and upgrade needs and discrepancies to Campus Pastor ;
  • Attend training sessions at Greenville Campus with Audio Director;
  • Assist Asheville Campus Pastor and Greenville Campus Audio Director with other projects as assigned.

Chef/Kitchen Coordinator

Full time; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Sunday; 6:00am – 6:00pm, Tuesday; 8:00am – 3:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am – 12:00pm, 4:00pm – 10pm (1st Wednesday of every month only) Thursday; 8:00am – 6:00pm and additional hours as needed for Special Events and Conferences.

Objective:
Provide high-quality food, excellent customer service and a clean and friendly environment in Redemption’s Higher Grounds Cafe.

Requirements:
Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience; minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant setting; ability to work in a fast paced environment; working knowledge of operating/handling commercial kitchen equipment; familiarity with DHEC regulations for restaurants preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all meals for weekly church services and special events
  • Maintain cleanliness of all commercial kitchen equipment & stock room
  • Assist with food inventory process and unloading deliveries each week
  • Comply with all DHEC regulations and recommendations concerning safe food preparation, handling, and storage
  • Assist Food Services Director with other projects as assigned
  • Work independently with little or no supervision and accept constructive criticism
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds

Preschool Lead Teacher

Part-time working less than 20 hours per week; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Various classrooms and work schedules
Work scheduled will be determined by the assigned service(s) as indicated plus additional hours for Special Events as needed

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age with satisfactory completion of a nationwide criminal background check and reference check
  • Passion for Preschool Ministry with 6 months of previous volunteer or work experience in a day care, church nursery, Children’s Ministry or other childcare program
  • Active member of Redemption preferred
  • Ability to read and teach from a prescribed curriculum
  • Willingness to minister, sing, play, create crafts and interact positively with children
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with parents and caregivers
  • Understanding of basic first aid and child/infant CPR preferred

Objective:
To ensure the safety and care of all children attending our Preschool classrooms while sharing the love of Christ through Bible lessons, songs, interactive play and ministry.

 

Food Service Dishwashing Associate

Part-time (seasonal)

Hours:
Sunday; 6:30am – 4:30pm, Tuesday; 1:00pm – 4:00pm, Wednesday 12:00pm – 4:00pm, 4:00pm – 10pm (1st Wednesday of every month only) Thursday; 1:00pm – 4:00pm and additional hours as needed for Special Events and Conferences.

Objective:
Provide good food, excellent customer service and a clean and friendly environment in the Higher Grounds Café.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; skilled in proper dishwashing technique; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; prior volunteer service in RWOC’s Higher Grounds Café preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with washing and putting away all dished used during the shift
  • Clean café tables, chairs, and floors as needed
  • Clean serving bar area frequently
  • Assist with washing and rying solied aprons, table cloths, dish cloths, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all commercial kitchen equipment & stock room (i.e. deep fryer, ice machine, refrigerator, freezers, etc.)

Manager on Duty

Provide support to the Facility Director of Imagine Sports + Fitness

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an Administrative role with a focus on customer service; prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking and communication skills a must
  • Prior educational, work or volunteer experience in sports or fitness industry is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to policies and procedures as outlined in the Imagine Sports and Fitness employee handbook
  • Take shared responsibility for accomplishing the vision of Imagine Sports and Fitness.
  • Support Facility Director with various duties, including filing, answering phone calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Serve as the lead customer service contact for assisting members with concerns on accounts, maintaining relationship with our service provider, and making adjustments to accounts as needed (Cancellations, freezes, payment plans)
  • Perform specific duties in Club Systems, such as changing pay dates, changing credit card/banking information, resolving billing issues, sending out mass texts to members, etc.
  • Manage Point of Sale in Club Systems (Adding/Removing Inventory, Changing Pricing Information)
  • Professionally handle financial issues and complaints pertaining to members who are sent to collection agencies for non-payments
  • Perform and manage complex billing projects with Club Systems
  • Manage and respond to general email questions to our general email address
  • Manage Corporate Wellness accounts and file benefit claims for all applicable members (Global Fit, Silver Sneakers, etc.)
  • Serve as the primary Supervisor to the Front Desk
  • Act as the liaison between the Front Desk, Fitness Consultants, and Personal Trainers and all other departments at weekly manager meetings and communicate relevant information to all departments as needed
  • Manage the interviewing and evaluation process of hiring new Front Desk Receptionists, Fitness Consultants, Personal Trainers, and Café Attendants and issue recommendations for employee discipline procedures, up to and including terminations
  • Manage and motivate the Front Desk, Fitness Consultant, and Personal Training staff by holding regular meetings and planning other activities that promote team work and increase morale of all departments.
  • Develop and implement Front Desk policies and procedures and supervise both the Receptionists and the Fitness Consultants on proper operational procedures
  • Assign and manage Front Desk schedules
  • Hold Front Desk Staff accountable to performing job duties by completing on-going performance appraisals and employee discipline reports as needed
  • Assign area of responsibility to Front Desk Staff for general housekeeping and assure Front Desk and Foyer areas are kept neat, clean, and presentable to members and visitors
  • Train all Front Desk employees on updated or new software procedures; Train Personal Trainers on forms and completing personal training contracts
  • Responsible for managing the production log by calculating sales numbers, calculating Fitness Consultant’s individual sales numbers, creating spreadsheets to displays each month’s sales, etc.
  • Complete payroll for all Front Desk employees; Assist Group Fitness Manager with payroll for Group Fitness employees
  • Responsible for managing court rental contracts and invoices for payment
  • Coordinate special marketing events, competitions, and tournaments
  • Support Facility Director as needed in daily tasks and marketing events
  • Serve as The Imagine Center’s representative at public events if the Facility Director is unable to attend
  • Request work orders for maintenance repairs
  • Coordinate appointments, maintain calendars and provide reminders of all daily commitments
  • Requisition rooms when necessary for activities
  • Enter bulletin announcements or requested projects into the Marketing or Media queue
  • Handle all mailings, including promotional bulk mailings

Facility Attendant

Two Positions Available: Part-time working 20+ hours per week and working less than 20 hours per week; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Afternoons/Evenings and weekends. Exact schedule to be determined

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a customer service, receptionist or administrative position
  • Personal commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle
  • Prior cash handling or cash register experience
  • Availability to cover additional shifts as needed
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Group Fitness Instructor

Part-time, less than 20 hours weekly

Hours:
Evening availability with some morning availability is a plus; schedule will vary according to the needs of the facility.

Qualifictions:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current certification in Group Fitness
  • • Certification in Cycling with additional certification a plus (Group Fitness)
  • Must have a minimum of one year of work experience in group exercise instructor position
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to professionally work with the public in a variety of duties
  • Availability to participate in group meetings
  • Demonstrates an energetic & enthusiastic teaching style

FiT-KiDz Childcare Associate

Part-time, 20 or more hours weekly

Hours:
Monday – Friday 3:45 PM – 8:00 PM or until close
Saturdays as needed 9:45AM – 2:00PM or until close;
additional hours as needed..

Qualifictions:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of 6 months work or volunteer experience working with children in an active environment
  • Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift a minimum of 30 pounds and participate in moderate exercise activities
  • Committed to a healthy, active lifestyle
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred
