Graphic Designer

Full-time, exempt

Hours:
Monday through Thursday 8 am – 6 pm with some flexibility in schedule; additional hours as needed for special events and projects.

Objective:
Develop concepts, produce print & digital graphics, and provide typesetting and layouts for brochures, flyers, websites and other promotional materials based on project scope.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field of study or at least 2 years multimedia and graphic design experience
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required
  • Knowledge in HTML/CSS/Javascript and flash a plus
  • Compelling aesthetic sensibilities and general understanding of layout, typography, color theory and design principles
  • Knowledge of print production process a plus
  • Wildly creative with the ability to brainstorm with a creative team and develop innovative and unexpected ideas

Marketing Admin Assistant

Full-time (40 hours; plus additional hours as required for events and projects)

Hours:
Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Objective:
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years in an administrative role
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or formal business training preferred;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to work collaboratively with internal team members of the organization and the public; represents the Company in a friendly, professional and positive manner while building/maintaining positive relationships;
  • Ability to multi-task, be diligent with details, follow directions, take initiative, stay on task, be flexible and accomplish all with grace in a busy office;
  • High degree of integrity and the ability to handle/maintain confidential matters with discretion;
  • Displays strong organizational skills, attention to detail and is committed to follow through in the completion of tasks and projects;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office softwares including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; understanding of Office 360; working knowledge of basic office equipment including fax, copier;

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and assists with the marketing activities of the Church which may include advertising, direct mailing, printing, and member events.
  • Acts as gatekeeper for projects including monitoring and tracking information.
  • Assisting with various events/conferences and event planning, creating or updating presentation software files, and communicating with external creative service providers.
  • Purchasing (tracking budgets and expenses), and reconciling credit card reports/statements.
  • Assists with the generation and maintenance of time sensitive materials
  • Prepares reports and manages correspondence including letters and other documents as requested
  • Performs logistical coordination of meetings, events, webcasts, and conference calls
  • Attends meetings across the organization, prepares minutes, organizes follow up on action items, communicates and tracks deadlines
  • Partners with team members to organize/coordinate companywide events and meetings
  • Manages incoming phone calls and emails
  • Opens, sorts and delivers incoming correspondence
  • Prepares response to routine inquiries via mail and email
  • Greets and screens callers and visitors

Engage Administrator

Full-time, exempt

Hours:
Monday – Thursday; 9:00am – 5:00pm, Wednesdays (Unite Weeks) 1:00pm – 9:00pm, Sundays 7:30am – 3:30pm

Objective:
To assist the Engage Director with all operations of Engage to ensure that all Engage booth & office volunteers, as well as current volunteers from Redemption Serve Teams are properly placed, trained and encouraged to serve at Redemption.

Requirements:
High school diploma required; some college preferred; prior customer service and data entry experience required; proven initiative to prioritize and manage responsibilities while working independently to implement project activities; excellent time management and organizational skills; strong interpersonal skills & the ability to build positive relationships internally & with the public; Microsoft Office suite proficiency;

Responsibilities:

  • Submit weekly and monthly reports on behalf of the Engage Director
  • Review and follow up with all communication requests submitted by Staff and Ministry Leaders
  • Facilitate recruiting, training, and scheduling of Engage Team volunteers
  • Perform data collection and verification for Volunteer Reporting and overall Church engagement purposes
  • Post Greenville Campus content to social media sites
  • Coordinate and participate in Greenville Campus Special Events
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Engage Director

Safety & Security Officer

Full-time, hourly, non- exempt

Hours:
Approximately 40 hours per week plus additional hours as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in a Safety and Security position
  • L.E.D certified or eligible for certification
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security and law enforcement procedures and ability to work under adverse conditions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communications, specifically with customer relations and incident reports
  • Demonstrated ability to perform with little supervision and to remain calm and make rational decisions in crisis situations
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, nights and weekends
  • Physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds; 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses and ability to detect minor sounds and disturbances

Responsibilities:

  • Provide all aspects of security to all physical areas of the REDEMPTION campus, including The Imagine Center facility, in accordance with local, state and federal codes and good practices to ensure long-life, safety, and operability of REDEMPTION’s campus
  • Take shared responsibility for accomplishing the vision of REDEMPTION and strive to display professionalism and moral conduct becoming of a church environment
  • Assist the Campus Safety & Security Manager with various law enforcement and security functions and protect life and property of individuals and the church
  • Maintain the safety and security of the campus, foster a church environment and act as a deterrent to unsafe or poor behavior by providing high visibility throughout the church; walking and surveying offices, common areas, grounds and parking lots
  • Intervene in verbal and physical encounters among the staff and church members; diffuse hostile situations and enforce safety policies regarding weapons, tobacco, illegal substances, traffic rules, etc.
  • Complete preliminary reports of incidents; advise Manager of significant incidents at assigned locations and direct security personnel and equipment in the absence of the Manager
  • Assist staff and church members during crisis situations including fire drills, tornado drills, weapons control, bomb threats and lockdowns
  • Participate in S.L.E.D. training activities and required meetings
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Administrative Assistant to the Asheville Campus Pastor

Part-time, non-exempt

Hours:
Monday-Thursday 9:00am-2:30pm; hours may vary depending on projects and meeting schedules

Objective:
Provide administrative support to the Asheville Campus Pastor

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative support role
  • Professional or volunteer experience in a ministry setting preferred
  • Provide own vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Quick learner
  • Self-motivated with capability to work with little or no supervision and accept constructive criticism as given
  • Desire to be an integral part of a team and work together to accomplish goals

  • Update the campus bulletin each week.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records with Redemption’s Accounting Department.
  • Ensure each Team Leader has what they need from the office for Sundays and special events, such as printed material, supplies, mail, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office area.
  • Go on errands as needed to pick up office supplies, go to Post Office, etc.
  • Work independently and anticipate work based on prior requests and instructions.
  • Review, correct, & approve all time cards for Asheville campus employees.
  • Assist Campus Pastor with other projects as assigned.

Chef/Kitchen Coordinator

Full time; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Sunday; 6:00am – 6:00pm, Tuesday; 8:00am – 3:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am – 12:00pm, 4:00pm – 10pm (1st Wednesday of every month only) Thursday; 8:00am – 6:00pm and additional hours as needed for Special Events and Conferences.

Objective:
Provide high-quality food, excellent customer service and a clean and friendly environment in Redemption’s Higher Grounds Cafe.

Requirements:
Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience; minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant setting; ability to work in a fast paced environment; working knowledge of operating/handling commercial kitchen equipment; familiarity with DHEC regulations for restaurants preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all meals for weekly church services and special events
  • Maintain cleanliness of all commercial kitchen equipment & stock room
  • Assist with food inventory process and unloading deliveries each week
  • Comply with all DHEC regulations and recommendations concerning safe food preparation, handling, and storage
  • Assist Food Services Director with other projects as assigned
  • Work independently with little or no supervision and accept constructive criticism
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds

Preschool Lead Teacher

Part-time working less than 20 hours per week; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Various classrooms and work schedules
Work scheduled will be determined by the assigned service(s) as indicated plus additional hours for Special Events as needed

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age with satisfactory completion of a nationwide criminal background check and reference check
  • Passion for Preschool Ministry with 6 months of previous volunteer or work experience in a day care, church nursery, Children’s Ministry or other childcare program
  • Active member of Redemption preferred
  • Ability to read and teach from a prescribed curriculum
  • Willingness to minister, sing, play, create crafts and interact positively with children
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with parents and caregivers
  • Understanding of basic first aid and child/infant CPR preferred

Objective:
To ensure the safety and care of all children attending our Preschool classrooms while sharing the love of Christ through Bible lessons, songs, interactive play and ministry.

 

Parent Pager Specialist

Part-time working less than 20 hours per week; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Sundays 7:30am – 3:00pm, 1st Wednesday of the month, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Additional hours for Special Events as needed

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Friendly, Enthusiastic, Attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills

Objective:
Assist with the registration of children using the Parent Pager system and attend to any needs or questions presented by parents, guardians or children at the Power Source Information Desk.

 

Food Service Dishwashing Associate

Part-time (seasonal)

Hours:
Sunday; 6:30am – 4:30pm, Tuesday; 1:00pm – 4:00pm, Wednesday 12:00pm – 4:00pm, 4:00pm – 10pm (1st Wednesday of every month only) Thursday; 1:00pm – 4:00pm and additional hours as needed for Special Events and Conferences.

Objective:
Provide good food, excellent customer service and a clean and friendly environment in the Higher Grounds Café.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; skilled in proper dishwashing technique; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; prior volunteer service in RWOC’s Higher Grounds Café preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with washing and putting away all dished used during the shift
  • Clean café tables, chairs, and floors as needed
  • Clean serving bar area frequently
  • Assist with washing and rying solied aprons, table cloths, dish cloths, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all commercial kitchen equipment & stock room (i.e. deep fryer, ice machine, refrigerator, freezers, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs; must possess proper hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Assist with special events, conferences and banquets as needed
  • Assist Food Services Director with other projects as assigned

Two Positions Available: Part-time working 20+ hours per week and working less than 20 hours per week; hourly, non-exempt

Hours:
Afternoons/Evenings and weekends. Exact schedule to be determined

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a customer service, receptionist or administrative position
  • Personal commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle
  • Prior cash handling or cash register experience
  • Availability to cover additional shifts as needed
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Prior educational, work or volunteer experience in fitness industry preferred
  • Prior work experience in sales industry preferred

To provide exceptional customer service to the members, guests and potential members of The Imagine Center, LLC at the Front Desk while demonstrating the ability to handle membership sales and tours.

Group Fitness Instructor

Part-time, 20 or more hours weekly

Hours:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes beginning at 10:30am; schedule will vary according to the needs of the facility

Qualifictions:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current certification in Group Fitness
  • Multiple areas of certification preferred (Silver Sneakers & Yoga)
  • Must have a minimum of one year of work experience in group exercise instructor position
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to professionally work with the public in a variety of duties
  • Availability to participate in group meetings
  • Demonstrates an energetic & enthusiastic teaching style
  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills

Objective:

Facilitate group exercise classes that focus on safety and effectiveness while executing the customer service philosophy of the Imagine Center.

FiT-KiDz Childcare Associate

Part-time, 20 or more hours weekly

Hours:
Monday – Friday 3:45 PM – 8:00 PM or until close
Saturdays as needed 9:45AM – 2:00PM or until close;
additional hours as needed..

Qualifictions:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of 6 months work or volunteer experience working with children in an active environment
  • Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift a minimum of 30 pounds and participate in moderate exercise activities
  • Committed to a healthy, active lifestyle
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred
