Position: IMAG Coordinator

Report To: Media Director

Classifications: Part-time, Up to 19 hours weekly, Non-Exempt Status

Hours: Sundays 8:00 am to approx. 1:30 pm, plus additional hours for special events as assigned.


  • Experience is essential.  This person must be committed, responsible and a strong leader.  Must know the how to accurately run all systems in IMAG, know all operating procedures as well as all software/systems that are used.  This person must be a tithing member of Redemption and spirit filled.


  • Adhere to policies and procedures as outlined in the Redemption employee handbook. 
  • Take shared responsibility for accomplishing the vision of Redemption and Ron Carpenter Ministries. 
  • Walk in a daily relationship with the Lord and be Christ-like at all times. 
  • Must arrive a minimum of 45-60 minutes prior to service to open up all files needed
  • Maintain schedule of IMAG Operators and ensure that all slots are filled adequately
  • Responsible to notify leader as to upcoming absences, giving enough notice to find a replacement
  • Maintain relationship with IMAG Operators
  • Responsible for training new IMAG Operators
  • Responsible to ensure that IMAG slides are proof-read before every service and fixed accordingly as well as to make sure that all relevant slides are up and running
  • Assist Media Director in creating/enforcing policies and procedures, ensuring that the ministry is functioning effectively and efficiently
  • Responsible for what information is shown on the screens in the sanctuary and around campus
  • Run songs accurately– on time with the singing
      • Operators assist in the leading of praise and worship and assist with setting the atmosphere in the sanctuary
        • Mistakes become hindrances to the worshipper
  • Make and return phone calls as needed.
  • Run scriptures accurately
  • Accurately document all radio calls and ensure that the correct slides/information is relayed in the sanctuary
    • Vehicle information
    • Any communication to the sanctuary
    • Accurately discern appropriateness of communication relayed
      • All slides (and their wording) should be approved by the Media Director
  • During all services the focus of the IMAG Operators must be maintained and directed
  • Should attend all Worship & Arts/Band rehearsals/practice as needed to ensure accuracy of all songs
    • Must quickly learn all new songs
    • Must teach Team Members and keep them up to date on changes
  • Instill the importance of IMAG to all Team Members
    • Assist with setting the atmosphere of all Redemption services/special events
  • Work closely with Director during all services
    • Choosing the correct images to display in the sanctuary
  • Required to attend all Ministry Meetings / Church functions and special events
    • Leadership meetings/trainings as needed
    • Actively be visible during meetings
    • Accurately take attendance of all Team Members and report it to the Administrative Assistant on a monthly basis
  • Must align themselves with the vision of the Redemption, Redemption Media and the Media Director
    • Must enforce policies and procedures with Associates
    • Must be approachable and ready to assist Associates with issues, prayer, encouragement, etc…
  • Maintain Propresenter knowledge including current working version. Research and be on the front end of future updates or releases. This would also include keeping the team in the know.
